Position Summary

FIXED TERM CONTRACT TO APRIL 2027 — As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll contribute to a positive global impact by supporting forecasting, reporting, business analytics and decision support. The Finance Business Partner will partner with site leadership, financial and business support to enable achievement of career and business goals while supporting solutions for global challenges (e.g., safeguarding the environment, food safety, cancer research). Responsibilities

• 
  
• Partner with the SLT team, support them with data for monthly business reviews and forecasting; include submitting and verifying forecasts to the planning tool.
  
• Report operational metrics to support SLT decision making and report weekly and monthly KPIs to the EMEA FP&A team.
  
• Run weekly revenue review process with Horsham site for Clinical and Commercial product lines and report to Division.
  
• Analyze monthly and quarterly business results and support regional submissions and reviews for financials and headcount.
  
• Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  
• Support the Annual Operating Planning process and regular Divisional business reviews.
  
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, including support for some month-end journal calculations.
  
• Support the Capital Projects team and the CAPEX financial analyst in delivering the year’s projects.
  
• Identify areas for improvement and drive efficiencies by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools with the EMEA team.
  
• Coordinate and support ad hoc projects and data/analysis requests as needed.
  
• Engage with the EMEA FP&A team to drive harmonisation within the region.
  
• Undertake ad hoc duties as directed and agreed with the Sr Finance Business Partner, Horsham.
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred).
  
• Business finance or other meaningful experience.
  
• Strong financial and business modelling experience.
  
• Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
  
• Comfortable interacting with executive-level management.

• Experience working in Pharmaceutical industry preferable.
  
• Experience using Oracle Cloud and Planning tool.
