You will already possess a strong and current track record as an Accounts Assistant with strong accounting principles and practices. With similar levels of experience, you will be able to bring a dynamic, personable and up-beat manner with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

You will have a proven track record in a PurchaseLedger or Accounts Assistant role with a proactive and positive approach tolearning new systems. You will work alongside the Audit Manager and Audit Partner to complete Audit engagements for a variety of businesses in your portfolio.

You will also have the opportunity to work with the wider businesses Audit team, working on larger, more complex multinational audit engagements which will be excellent exposure.

You will have already started your accounting career in an accounts payable position, where you will have developed a strong skill set from processing invoices through to payment runs. Exposure to VAT and bank reconciliation is an advantage, alongside working on an accounting software package like Sage.

You will also liaise with colleagues on daily invoice transactions to resolve any discrepancies and resolve any problems with suppliers or customers. What you'll need to succeed

You will also demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively with the wider business.

You will be working closely with the Finance Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running of the department during a busy period. This is a full-time role which is based onsite, with flexibility on start and finish times and an early finish on a Friday.

You will be paid weekly through Hays and have a dedicated Hays consultant, who will speak with you weekly conducting aftercare.

You will have a variety of daily duties from end to end accounts payable and receivable to credit control, as well as daily banking and credit card reconciliation.
