You will provide support to children and young people with additional support needs within Bearsden Primary School.

You will be responsible for the personal care needs of pupils and under the direction of the class teacher, you will help pupils with specific learning activities and to follow instructions and organise their work.

You should be an enthusiastic team player, have good organisational skills and have good keyboard and communication skills. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.

You will only be paid for the hours that you work.

You will be involved in all aspects of the work-based learning activities including the provision of initial learner training onthe use of the e-portfolio (Pebble Pad), development of individual learning plans, monitoring online learner engagement,supporting work-based learners and assessing work-based learning activities.
