You will receive ongoing training and coaching from your manager, as well as specific training courses throughout the year to help you develop your management skills and foster upwards career progression. Support will be provided for you to gain your Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

You will require experience of supporting Additional Learning Support / SEND Provision and of supporting events to promote community engagement.

You will work in a residential home for vulnerable young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, supporting day-to-day running and providing high-quality, consistent care. Location, Salary and Hours Location: Lancing Salary: £31,500 per annum Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week across a 7-day rota

You will be based at Alinora service but may be required to work at other locations as and when needed.

You will act with integrity, professionalism, and respect on behalf of the organisation, always ensuring that the needs of individuals are paramount.

You will deal with varied and complex cases, working alongside other agencies, dealing with complex family dynamics, managing complex risk levels, and considering legal issues.

You will work with students aged 11–16 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, supporting them to re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally. This role is ideal for a teacher who believes in trauma-informed practice, restorative approaches, and the power of strong relationships to transform lives.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that align with school expectations and the EYFS/KS1 curriculum, stepping in for both planned and last-minute absences.
