Acting Communications Manager jobs in Spaxton

You will oversee specialist low-voltage communications systems—Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and IT/Telecom cabling (RJ45, racks, containment). Acting on behalf of the client, you won’t perform detailed design but will review, manage, and challenge requirements to ensure systems are practical, safe, and constructible.

You will act as a key link between factory teams, central functions, customers and external bodies, driving quality excellence and ensuring our systems, standards and culture consistently meet business, customer and regulatory expectations.

You will lead internal audit activity, support external and customer audits, and ensure strong governance of HACCP, TACCP and GMP across the site.

You will be joining an established and well-respected Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering environmental projects in the South West of England. This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Bridgwater depot with hybrid working and site visits (along the M5 corridor, Bristol to Torquay) as and when required.

You will oversee raw material acceptance, in-process quality controls and out-of-specification (OOS) decision-making, ensuring product integrity and compliance at every stage. This role plays a key part in protecting brand reputation, maintaining audit readiness and driving continuous improvement in process quality and hygiene standards.
