You will be based in our newly refurbished head-office in Perth, and report to the Finance Services Manager.

You will be responsible for accurately processing all timesheets on a weekly basis, and on occasion, assisting with purchase ledger tasks. Responsibilities and Activities:

You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. We'll also need you to liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team.

You should be reliable and flexible when it comes to your working hours.

You will process enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders such as the general public, external agencies, Council staff at all levels as well as Elected Members and be expected to do this promptly, efficiently and accurately.

You should have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills as this is a busy and demanding role with often conflicting priorities.

You will have a PhD in Chemistry, Molecular Biosciences (such as Biochemistry, Genetics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Synthetic Biology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field) or approved AQF equivalency with relevant industry experience.
