You must have due regard for risk management and see the bigger picture. An insight into your responsibilities: - Supervise the finance team. - Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements. - Management of financial operations. - Budgeting, cash flow, and reconciliations.

You will be instrumental in consolidating group results, managing key reporting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making at the highest level.

You will manage a dedicated team focused on supporting both operational companies and central functions, acting as a trusted advisor across multiple departments.

You will be based in the Derby office, working within a well-established civil and structural engineering team while contributing to projects nationwide.

You will not be confined to one sector and will gain broad, career-strengthening exposure across highways, drainage and infrastructure design.

You will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks in your area, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting of automatic doors and roller shutters.

You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock.
