apprentice mechanic jobs in Devon

You will work closely with experienced engravers to learn the technical skills required to operate engraving machinery and produce high-quality engraved items. What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will gain a Level 6 BEng Electromechanical Apprenticeship degree in conjunction with our Training Provider, Exeter University (block release). This will be discussed further during the recruitment process.

You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed above.

You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.

You will also be required to use a Toughbook and/or and iPad to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.

You will be a mechanically biased engineer with experience working in manufacturing / factory environments, with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline. Safety is our biggest priority, so youll be committed to safe working and have strong experience of health and safety best practice.
