You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.

You will have experience of working in a bar environment with serving freshly made food and drinks preparation. A natural talent and passion for hospitality and an amazing people manager with a flair for talent spotting. Extremely driven and relentless at overcoming challenges or obstacles.

You will ensure everyone receives a welcoming, positive experience that helps them settle, grow in confidence and plan for independent living.

You will bring empathy, patience and a genuine desire to support people facing homelessness and complex challenges.

You will also have: At least six months’ experience of working with the public (desirable).

You will be placed in the suitable age group that you work with best.

You will be assisting more than one class, supporting several children across the school, rather than working 1:1 with any particular child.

You will need to be available to start immediately, as well as being able to commit to working full school hours, 5 days per week.

You will work closely with pupils who present with a range of communication, emotional regulation, and behavioural needs, gaining invaluable exposure to applied psychological practice in a real-world setting.

You will work closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs, supporting them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners to support students to thrive and achieve their potential in an academic and personal sene.

You will have opportunities for development and to support pupils in the classroom, in 1:1 and group interventions and in extra curricular/ enrichment activities including Forest School, Sports and School Trips.
