You will be working with an assortment of equipment including electric trucks.

You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.

You will work to achieve plant workshop targets, product quality, customer service and health and safety objectives.

You must be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3, or to have Level 2 Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance/Level 2 Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance/ Level 3 Diploma in Plant Maintenance or have served a recognised apprenticeship*.

You will be required to carry out a range of mechanical maintenance duties to support asset reliability.

You must be flexible, have a desire to learn and develop and an ability to adapt to new equipmentKnowledge of steelmaking processes would be beneficial but is not essential, as extensive training will be provided.
