You will be joining a multidisciplinary team set up in 2023, including Clinical/Neuro Psychologists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Therapy Support Workers. The Hyperacute Major Trauma team currently works on an in‐reach basis providing specialist assessment and treatment of complex trauma patients.

You will provide technical authority across all aspects of system design—electrical, mechanical, and installation—ensuring designs are safe, cost‐effective, compliant, and delivered to the highest industry standards.

You will drive design quality, mentor engineers, and ensure project deliverables meet client requirements, industry codes, and Balfour Beatty's engineering standards.

You will also be addressing the required funding arrangements for public sector projects, and working alongside our engineers, ecologists, environmental scientists and other technical experts in key service areas.

You should have good project management skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to lead technical work, as well as mentor junior team members in developing their skills.

You will be directly responsible for managing all Health & Safety matters related to explosive processing whilst providing explosive safety and technical advice to the Glasgow manufacturing department as required.

You will also manage the explosive stock account and oversee all onsite explosive processing whilst ensuring compliance with local and external policy.
