The successful candidate will ensure working practices comply with current legislation and protect the organisation from a legal perspective.

You will also be responsible for the following: - Pre-operative testing; conducting tests prior to examination and treatment and assisting during the consent appointment process, including providing information to patients prior to their IOL or LVC procedure.

You will support the management of the care and support to young people in a safe, secure and positive environment; ensuring that the work is in keeping with legislative, organisational and procedural requirements, and current good practice and guidance.

You will be expected to develop towards a full Technical Superintendent position (after completing training/familiarisation period).
