The Regional Estimator is responsible for the land viability/appraisal up to land purchase, prior to the handover to the Quantity Surveying and Buying teams. You will support or lead (depending on experience) estimating and design activity across IT infrastructure projects, including structured cabling (copper and fibre), low-voltage edlectrical infrastructure and wireless/cellular systems. The right person will be confident interpreting technical information, shaping scope and assumptions, and contributing to bid-stage discussions.

You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of successful tenders on data centres, comms rooms or similar projects involving critical infrastructure.

You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a building services estimating position. Must have full clean UK driving licence.

You will manage a range of domestic and commercial applications, contribute to the team on a wide range of related activities including dealing with dangerous structures, enforcement and advising on demolitions.

You will train and mentor junior staff, where necessary under supervision, to ensure the service grows its talent pool and develops staff of the future.

You will join us on full time, permanent basis.

You will also help determine accurate costing of jobs and prospective contracts processed by the company – including estimating material content, production time/overhead, sub-contract costs, packaging, delivery/freight costs, etc.
