You will support the lead Mechanical PM in driving delivery, coordination and commissioning to a clean handover over an 80-week programme, taking ownership of defined areas as you develop. You will carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standard and appropriate specification. Similarly, you will test and diagnose faults, providing written reports on component defects and/or systems with impending failure.

You will preferably have experience of working in the nuclear and/or defence industries, but also those with relevant industrial design experience looking to work in a technically challenging environment. In this role you be part of a several hundred strong team across the UK, working within the Mechanical Engineering team based in Glasgow, Warrington, Bristol, Or Reading.

You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
