You will be responsible for the mechanical design of building services for residential and mixed-use developments from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities:

You will work closely with Lateral's in-house structural design team while acting as a trusted technical point of contact for shipyards, production engineers, and classification societies throughout the build cycle.

You will be a vital part of this evolution, contributing your expertise to our strategy and helping us redefine what services we offer our clients.

You will ensure buildings are designed to minimise fire risks, through contributing to the development of fire strategy reports, calculations and fire risk assessments.

You will also be responsible for managing risks, technical documents, and ensuring compliance with schedules, costs, and scope requirements Some of the main responsibilities of the Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer will include: - Be the main point of contact for clients and suppliers on matters related to instrumentation and safety equipment.

You will undertake feasibility assessments, analysis, preliminary and detailed design. Carry our design risk assessments and apply mitigation's. Joining and established team, this is a hybrid role, with a 50/50 split of home and site work for surveys and validation of the build along with some overnight stays depending on where you are based.
