You will lead the electronics development of a key sensor project for aircraft. This is a key role in developing, maturing, and delivering a mission-critical, electro-optical system that will be installed onto the aircraft platform. What will you be doing?

You will need to hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline (minimum HNC level) and have experience working in low volume or bespoke manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles, particularly relating to CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and optics handling.

You will have ownership of all electronics work packages; agree budget and schedule with engineering management, day-to-day planning and execution your teams work, supervising the engineers in completion of their tasks, and reporting to all stakeholders.
