You will heavily interact with the rest of the internal organisation, utilising support across various teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance).

You will undertake feasibility assessments, analysis, preliminary and detailed design. Carry our design risk assessments and apply mitigation's. You will be responsible for transforming raw 3D models into fully functional, "simulation-ready" assets for NVIDIA Isaac Sim. This is not a pure modelling role; it requires a deep technical understanding of USD structures, physics properties (colliders, mass, friction), and Python scripting for automation.

You will demonstrate a pro-active approach to design development, working within a team environment from the project’s inception through to its completion.

You will be tasked with the control of the complete design process involving the management of consultants, liaison with the relevant statutory and local authorities and other internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

You will approve F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods.

You will be responsible for the technical scope of assigned projects and tasks.

You will contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments.
