You will be supporting students with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom, providing 1:1 and small-group mentoring focused on behaviour, emotional regulation and social development

You must have a solid understanding of restorative practice and trauma-informed approaches to de-escalate and re-engage students

You will help students engage with learning, develop independence, and participate fully in their education and training programmes. The successful candidate will be patient, compassionate, and committed to improving outcomes for young people.

You will be assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities

You will be expected to think on your feet and be proactive, no day is the same in a Special School, so being prepared is vital.
