You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Psychological Practice Ways of Working.

You will be given responsibility for holding a psychological caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to school development, staff training and consultation as required.

You will then negotiate the contract sum within the budget, including finalising costs to cover all late variations.

You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors; negotiating the cost of variations including liaising between Buyers and Build Managers.

You will provide a full range of pricing information for purchaser’s extras.

You will lead and develop a dedicated staff team, including Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Support Workers, and ensure the service consistently meets regulatory and organisational standards. The role includes participation in an on-call rota, which is incorporated into the salary.

You will hold overall operational responsibility for the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

You will lead and develop your team, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive positive outcomes for those you support.

You will work closely with partners including IAPT, Infant Mental Health, Special Parenting Service, Maternity Services, Health Visiting, the Devon MBU and other agencies to deliver a unified, outcome-focused service. As a CAP, you will be a key part of the MDT, providing specialist interventions, triaging referrals, and completing assessments.
