You will be part of the supporting management team for the wider Ireland transportation team of over 150 staff.

You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.

You will have the ability to collaborate with other disciplines and have experience in supporting and leading other civil engineers.

You will also have a track record of undertaking designs and completing design deliverables within required timescales and design budgets.

You will ensure the successful delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.

You will be required to work in the office 3 days per week with ad-hoc travel to sites in and around Belfast.

You will be an experienced senior leader with strong credibility across childrens social care and fostering, comfortable operating at strategic and operational levels.

You will be providing technical leadership to our design teams and will use your knowledge and skills to deliver the right quality to time and budget.

You will use those attributes to lead design teams and to mentor and support junior team members. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivery of schemes in either the local or national transport arena.

You will work alongside the founding Director and a growing team of industry experts to provide and lead the technical design function of a wide range water and wastewater projects. Projects will include wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, storage reservoirs and watermain programmes to name a few.

You will be intrinsic to the bidding and pricing of new opportunities, specifically on CSA activities and ensuring that those opportunities deliver to the 'as sold' fees and margins.

You will already be strong in technical design content, with an Architectural and Lead Designer bias, together with a proven capability in design management, digital technologies, and design workflow.

You will naturally be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimum direction.

You will work on projects ranging from small rural sites to multi-million-pound schemes, covering both water and wastewater (Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure), being delivered under the CRUs fourth regulatory control (RC4) period 2025-2029.

You will have the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.

You will lead large sales opportunities (7/8 figure sales opportunities) developed both directly through our Commercial team and/or through our strategic technology partnerships (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle and Red Hat) Lead on smaller sales opportunities/bids independently or with involvement from other members of the commercial team.
