You will be responsible for supporting site and design teams to deliver sustainability objectives and carbon reduction targets across live projects. The role will involve influencing best practice, driving innovation and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental standards.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of over 70 waste, radiation protection, delivery and environmental professionals providing support to decommissioning and radioactive waste management projects across the UK. Your responsibilities will include: Provide advice and guidance on segregating, packaging, labelling and storage of waste.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, provide strategic technical direction, and ensure that engineered solutions meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical leadership position and enjoys guiding teams through complex engineering challenges.

You will be joining a high-performing Project Controls function that takes pride in accuracy, integrity, and proactive support to project leadership. Working on large, complex engineering programmes, you will lead the integration of planning, cost control, estimating, risk management, change management, and reporting to provide a complete, reliable view of project performance.

You will have excellent clinical skills and the ability to lead on the shop floor.

You will be expected to be active in the teaching and supervision of all multi-disciplinary staff.

You must be on the Specialist Register in order to be eligible for appointment to this level of post.
