You will contribute to projects throughout the entire lifecycle – from feasibility and concept through to detailed design, installation supervision, and commissioning of onshore infrastructure.

You will collaborate closely with the AECOM T&D Team, gaining exposure to external clients and ensuring project delivery meets our standards for quality, safety, and environmental care.

You will combine technical authority, commercial judgement, and client engagement, operating with minimal supervision.

You will have at least 5+ years' experience and will bring strong experience in one or more of the following:IT infrastructureStructured cabling (copper and fibre)Low-voltage electrical systemsWireless or cellular technologies

You will need to be flexible in your work location as you will be away from home for periods of time and will travel and work across England and Wales.

You will assist in the production of construction plans and coordinate the engineering support team.

You will also be responsible for the procurement of construction materials and specialist subcontracts for the successful delivery of projects.

You will also be working with external clients, co ordinating building regulations and accessing risks attached to land purchases. As an experience Pre-Construction Project Manager, you will have proven project delivery but more specifically within the pre-construction of a project.

You will be experienced in pre-construction, programming, and planning of projects prior to being on site.

You will lead on all aspects of substation and network design from concept through to commissioning while supporting a variety of infrastructure upgrades to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
