You will be responsible for: Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of Tesco as a business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures: storage and preparation in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.

You will work directly with the CFO, where a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity will be required.

You will be responsible for carrying out duties delegated by them and for proactively dealing with matters on behalf of the CFO, without the need for escalation wherever possible and commensurate with the responsibilities of the role.

You will be responsible for creating the category strategy and aligning with the group approach.

You will represent procurement at a UK and European level within your categories to build partnerships, introduce new Suppliers and implement new ways of working.

You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standard and that production runs efficiently. Food industry experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities - Manage and lead the engineering team across maintenance and production support
