You will have company-wide influence, working with other collectives to grow Monzo. In this role you’ll be focused on improving our platform resilience. You’ll sit at the intersection of our platform and product engineering teams to make it easier for engineers to build resilient systems; improving our platform abstractions and tooling in the process.

You will be responsible for core product engineering, working on the Feeld mobile app and the supporting backend systems to deliver new features and updates to our Members.

You should be well versed in development best practices, especially in regards to security and potential attack vectors, and have a working knowledge of frontend development including the platform specifics of Android and iOS.

You will deploy and harden machine learning components in real-world energy and industrial environments. This role bridges the gap between research and production by operationalising physics-informed and deep learning models under real-world constraints.

You will ensure the robustness, stability, and explainability of AI systems within complex physical infrastructure and field environments.

You will be assessed on your technical skills and how quickly you are able to become operational.

You will have excellent communication to collaborate with a third-party engineering team developing Allocate. You’ll be involved with a wide range of tasks, from untangling database relationships to optimise slow running SQL queries, updating the codebase to modern PHP versions and to establish and maintain coding standards.
