You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring they are keeping up with the highest care standards. Keeping accurate records and communicating well with your colleagues are key parts of your role.

You will handle medication and make sure everything is in order with medication audits.

You will need to have at least 2 years experience in a customer service-based role and/or working as part of a team within a very busy and, at times pressurised, office environment. Initiative, empathy, good written and verbal communication skills, resilience, confidentiality and common sense are essential as you will be dealing with sensitive confidential information on a daily basis.

You will be supporting elderly service users who have a range of physical and mental illnesses/disabilities.

You will also assist with the resident's activities of daily living, including personal care, moving/handling and caring for their nutritional and hygiene needs.

You must have an awareness and passion to work with people with dementia and be prepared to be proactive on the job.

You will be trained to support with my day to day living needs along with supporting my learning thorough sensory play and physiotherapy.

You will have a genuine caring nature and calming presence and be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity respecting my family and their home.
