You will be responsible for providing and managing a wide range of structural engineering services and will have the opportunity to be involved in all sorts of tasks, from surveys of large commercial and industrial buildings, to design of blue light services buildings and challenging multi-storey developments.

You will likely have strong technical skills and a working knowledge of structural design software including, TEKLA, TEDDS and CAD, with Revit being a bonus.

You will have begun progression towards Chartership.

You will have gained a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).

You will be expected to work independently under the direction and support of the senior management team and will be given full opportunity to further develop managerial skills with ample opportunity for supported career development. What you need to do to be effective in this role

You should have a thorough understanding of structural behaviour and the application of relevant design and assessment standards. Knowledge of construction methods and contract procedures would be an advantage. It is also essential for you to have an in-depth understanding of current of Eurocodes, British Standards and assessment codes.
