You will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing and maintaining the fleet of commercial, heavy goods and specialist municipal vehicles in accordance with statutory regulations and policy. You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.

You will also be required to use a Toughbook and/or and iPad to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.

You will also benefit from having: Knowledge of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 would be an advantage, but training will be given to the right candidate. Previous experience in commercially orientated and / or regulated environment. Previous experience gained within the broader utilities, or a customer focused environment.

You will need a full valid driving licence in addition to a LGV category C and ideally a DCPC qualification (no more than 6 points).

You will be responsible for ensuring a first-time fix solution for customers and the environment whilst ensuring quality follow-on work is raised in accordance with our standards and specifications.
