You will help to create a warm, stimulating environment whilst working a mix of day shifts and sleeps to meet individual needs. You'll do more than provide care – you'll be a mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement, helping the people you support to achieve their own individual outcomes.

You will be part of a supportive and established team dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for looked after children and care leavers. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a caseload of young people aged 16-18 within the Children in Care pathway. - Undertake statutory visits, reviews, and care planning in line with legislation and local procedures.

You will contribute to their safety, education, cooking, cleaning, and participation in activities, and you will work across multiple homes in the area. Responsibilities Care for children and young people in all aspects of their lives, including safeguarding, education support, cooking, cleaning, and participating in activities.

You will conduct assessments to ensure the safety and reduce the risk to children in need of protection, including conducting court work and preparing court reports, as well as handling Section 47 enquiries.
