You will work across various classes and be involved in all stages of the claims process, from first notification to settlement, collaborating closely with a major client. Your role will include working with your clients to establish the strategy and process for the notification, agreement, collection, and successful settlement of this claims portfolio.

You will act as the key liaison between clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and legal representatives to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims, while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and compliance. Corporate Claims Handler - Key Responsibilities

You will provide advice and hands-on assistance to clients throughout the lifecycle of professional indemnity and related insurance claims. This includes liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and solicitors, supporting internal broking teams, and assisting senior management with reporting and technical insight.

You will oversee claims from initial notification through to final settlement, managing workflows via London market systems such as ECF and CLASS.

You will assist senior colleagues with complex or high-value losses and contribute to the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the claims function.

You will have already worked in the buildings/construction/property/insurance sector and are looking to join a business where they care about your progression, training, and work/life balance. Starting as a handler, you will have previous claims handling/management experience with strong negotiation and the ability to really listen and manage client cases.

You will be handling a diverse portfolio including CAR, Liability, Plant & Equipment, Property, and Professional Indemnity, acting as the main point of contact for clients, negotiating with insurers and suppliers, and ensuring fair and timely outcomes. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach.

You will carry out a proactive assessment, confirm coverage and evaluate investigative material to enable you to resolve claims in a timely manner.

You will appoint loss adjusters, lawyers and other experts to ensure the interests of the company ae protected.

You will demonstrate knowledge of international programmes including Europe, Asia and US.

You will also need to be fully competent in all aspects of claims management and people development, with proven influencing and problem-solving capabilities and experienced in Technical Motor Claims.

You will advise and update clients on how best to present their claims and will also assist them with how to negotiate with insurers to achieve the best outcome.
