You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines, producing precision parts to tight tolerances. Duties include:⦁ Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. ⦁ Working on large components using horizontal and vertical turning centres.

You will utilise CAD/CAM software such as CIMCO or Fusion 360 to program CNC machinery. Full training will be provided on vertical and horizontal boring machines, so prior experience on these machines is not essential.

You will also be responsible for providing machine operators timely feedback on product non-conformities, highlighting any training needs to supervisors and assist them with any technical queries. You’ll use your experience to seek out and drive continuous improvements to identify and resolve issues within your control, also contributing towards wider continuous improvement activities.
