Communications Operator jobs in Chorley

You will be reporting directly to one of the Assistant Operations Managers.

You will have direct engagement with customers, including potentially dealing with difficult situations or aggressive customers.

You will assist facility users with the separation and deposit of their waste, encouraging the general public to recycle as much of their waste as possible.

You will also provide fleet support and guidance for our 3 EU businesses.

You will play a vital role in maintaining UK vehicle availability, reducing downtime, supporting business operations and sustainability initiatives.

You will be proactive, detail‐oriented, commercially minded, and ready to hit the ground running.

You will be driving one of our Class 2 vehicles and supporting with pre-survey's, CCTV and jetting of the drainage network.

You will be operating a Class 2 vehicle (either a Cityflex or Recycler), ensuring vehicle checks are done prior to departing the site

You will be working closely with another Drainage Engineer to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities

You will play a key role in manufacturing our products and will make sure our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
