You will work as part of an integrated partnership, delivering high-quality, consistent interventions in line with national and local standards. Your work will contribute directly to the responsibilities of the Responsible Authority under the Management of Offenders (Scotland) Act 2005, with a strong emphasis on assessment, supervision, and risk management.

You will network with a wide range of local government stakeholders, building relationships with senior local government managers, councillors and industry experts and seminar speakers, within the sector.

You will assist in ensuring that APSE’s membership is kept up to date with developments in the sector.

You will also assist in the organisation of group project placements, assess referrals for work and organise work routines.

You will maintain records and report difficulties or failures to comply with these conditions when required.

You must have an SVQ3, HNC or apprenticeships in a relevant discipline or equivalent.

You will contribute directly to ground-breaking research projects by generating high-quality sequencing data and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the lab.
