You will work directly with children, young people and their non-abusive parents, providing practical support, advocacy and safety planning, while working closely with statutory and voluntary partners.

You will have experience supporting children, young people and adults who are vulnerable or at risk, ideally within domestic abuse, safeguarding or family support services.

You will be responsible for assisting the team where needed, including stock management, postnatal care in the home and the potential to attend homebirths. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of maternity care in the community in coordination with the community midwifery team, newborn hearing (NBHS) & newborn blood spot (NBBS) screeners.

You will need to be able to drive his adapted vehicle, as getting out and about is very important to him. He is gastrostomy fed and dependent on his wheelchair for mobility. He requires assistance with his personal care tasks,activities of daily living and leisure pursuits to enable him to maintain and increase his independence and bring more structure and routine to his day.
