You will ensure that your team of Engineers will work safely and comply with the site H&S rules.

You will identify and assist in the delivery of various improvement projects across the company to ensure requirements are gathered and targets met to improve performance. These include; Throughput, Quality, Waste, Changeover Reduction and Downtime.

You must have an eye for detail and have strong reasoning skills.

You will be required to handle raw meat that has already been butchered. Our ideal Production Operative will have passion for delivering our customer orders whilst making sure our high Health and Safety, Food Safety and Product Quality standards are met.

You will be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment.

You will be responsible for the following key tasks: Co-ordinating labour throughout the operational areas Managing costs within Operations and communicating daily with external services, invoicing, purchase orders Assisting Managers with staff management processes such as probationary reviews and Return to Work interviews.

You will be working 4on 4off 1800 - 0600.

You will be carrying out training in the classroom or on the shop floor and you will ensure our new starters on the night shift have a smooth start to their career.

You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable working on your own, managing your own workload accordingly.

You will manage the quality function for the site, thereby improving standards and quality management on site.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of not only the finished product but the production process, factory environment, adhering to GMP standards and enforcing the site’s food safety and hygiene policies.

You will be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment. We are a fast moving business so you need to enjoy working at pace and have dedication to take action and achieve results. Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
