You will lead on operational management of engineering infrastructure and maintenance teams, supporting the Deputy Head of Estates and driving forward the FM Transformation Programme. Key responsibilities include: - Overseeing Hard FM services across Trust sites. - Managing electrical systems (LV/HV), water safety, ventilation, medical gases, lifts, pressure systems, and asbestos.

You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs efficiently, and ensure all work complies with policies, statutory regulations and KPIs.

You will also monitor and adjust Building Management Systems (BMS), support emergency responses including fire alarm activations and lift entrapments, and liaise with contractors to facilitate safe access and system shutdowns.

You will be an experienced mechanical engineering professional with strong technical, organisational and leadership skills.

You will act as the organisation’s “eyes and ears” on site across multiple major and minor works schemes.

You will carry out regular site inspections, produce clear technical reports, highlight risks, and ensure that all contractors are working safely and delivering work that aligns with agreed designs, drawings and performance criteria.
