You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Psychological Practice Ways of Working.

You will be given responsibility for holding a psychological caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to school development, staff training and consultation as required.

You will be assessing patients independently and as part of a team across the wards.

You will also provide exercise programmes and assist with patient rehab to improve patient strength and function.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in service / quality improvement and develop leadership skills, as well as engaging in student placement education.

You will be expected to work independently, delivering therapy interventions on the wards by assessing the patient's needs, modifying treatment and care plans, and delivering this care without supervision. This will include progressing patient function, reassessing and discharging within scope of practice.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. Public transport cannot be used for this role. Please confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria.
