You will be involved in high-value, technically complex projects where precision and reliability are paramount. RequirementsDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject. Proven experience in mechanical design engineering within mission critical sectors.

You will be taking projects from concept through detailed design, and providing construction support to ensure safe, buildable solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver civil design for substations (11-132kV), grid connections, OHL interfaces and underground cable routes.

You will play a key role in supporting design and build tender activity, developing cost-effective engineering solutions, and managing the design process from inception through delivery.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff delivering a consistent high-quality service for clients, ensuring that repeat and new business opportunities are developed and profitability is achieved.

You should have an inquiring mind that wants to learn, and ideally you will demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach.
