You will work alongside Project Managers, Site Managers and Commercial Manager, providing leadership, direction and coordination across all aspects of the build. This is an excellent project management opportunity for an ambitious Construction Project Manager ready to take ownership of live sites.

You will be responsible for all the financial aspects of the project, working on the pre-con phase of tenders and then take the project through to site delivery.

You will work closely with the MQS and Commercial Manager as well as the client and site team, sometimes autonomously.

You will identify, source, and build strong working relationships with reliable suppliers, creating and maintaining a robust database of preferred vendors while ensuring key relationships are effectively managed.

You will also be expected to undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.

You will manage all aspects of project delivery, including programme, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder coordination.

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients and play a key role in driving projects forward to successful completion.

You will be responsible for projects ranging in value. Initially, the projects will be Residential Developments and public sector buildings. This business very much promotes hybrid working. Your role will include :Prepare tendering documentsProvide Contract Administration services.

You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to manage a varied workload and work well in a fast paced and reactive environment. This is a key and essential position in the business and requires an organised and proactive approach.

You will need to work well unsupervised and be effective in managing your own time and workloads.

You will have good knowledge and experience in the production of relevant documentation and be comfortable in a client facing role. Relevant qualifications and professional qualifications such as NEBOSH and CMaPS, or working towards, is essential.

You must have procurement / commercial experience in: concrete (inc. Volumetric concrete), utilities, street works & plant machinery (inc. lifting / crane hire).
