You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials including solid wood, veneers, solid surface and laminate to manufacture, assemble and finish bespoke joinery to an exceptionally high standard. Successful candidates will have: - NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent) in Bench Joinery, Carpentry & Joinery, or Hand-Crafted Furniture.

You will be required to engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities in the Bernicia way.

You will also be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focused environment where the customer comes first.

You will be responsible for fitting basic kitchens (strip joints) and all associated Joinery work - (no Butt & Scribe joints). The will mostly be on void properties, although some may be occupied. The kitchens will consist of 6-8 units and you may be required to assist with other basic trade duties.
