You will use BSL and other communication strategies to support learning, working closely with specialist staff, support assistants and therapists to ensure pupils can fully access the curriculum. The role also involves supporting language development, promoting independence and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

You will be joining a large science department with a mixture of experienced teachers, and up and coming teachers who are well guided to become excellent practitioners with lots of support and mentoring. The curriculum is broad and balanced, their students have access to an education that responds to their needs and recognises their interests.
