You will support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), complete site inspections, undertake design reviews, and advise on compliance with JSP 453, JSP 440, AP 600 and key British Standards. Working closely with RAF site teams, Air SCIDA Engineers and your Telent Area Manager, you will help maintain continuity of operational services while ensuring safe, compliant and secure ICT installations.

You will be joining a well-established and highly respected manufacturing organisation operating within the engineering sector. You will shape the core technical direction of A1 - model selection, training strategy, infrastructure, and long-term architecture.

You will have full autonomy to experiment with frontier models (LLaMA, Mistral, Qwen, Claude-compatible architectures) and build new approaches where existing ones fall short.

You will be a great fit if you: - Have 5+ years full-stack experience, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript depth. - Are backend-leaning, with deep Node. js and API experience. - Have previously worked in early-stage start-ups or very lean engineering teams. - Have extensive evidence of being a hands-on individual contributor in complex codebases.

You will manage a team of M&E Engineers Manage all technical issues. Manage agreed KPI and SLA's. Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site. You will work alongside technical system administrators, security and network authorities, and other stakeholders to manage and support Air CHAN infrastructure, with a particular focus on NetApp (StorageGRID) and Fortinet platforms. The position is primarily on-site, with standard office hours, and will include providing cover for holiday/leave to maintain full service availability.
