You should have experience in dealing with the public and excellent customer care skills are essential.

You will be required to use the Leisure Management software to check-in customers when they arrive and set up equipment ready for bookings.

You should have a good general standard of education including literacy and numeracy and an HSE First Aid qualification would be an advantage.

You will need to be adaptable, resourceful, professionally accountable and confident to work without the resource of a hospital at hand.

You will be responsible for the assessment, planning and monitoring of the quality of health care within the community across the life span.

You will receive support and guidance from the Lifestyles Co-ordinators, Senior Lifestyles Co-ordinator or Registered Manager and be expected to adhere to the Health and Social Care Standards and the SSSC codes of practice for Social Service Workers.

You will hold an SVQ2 in Social Services and Health Care or equivalent in accordance with the SSSC qualification requirements for registration.

You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service. This post is subject to Level 1 Disclosure Scotland clearance.
