You will have a minimum of your CIPD Level 5 (or similar) and have strong practical employment law knowledge.

You must have first class communication skills alongside an ability to build relationships with key stakeholders whilst working autonomously and as part of a team.

You will be comfortable with HR Systems and have a flexible approach to work.

You will prepare cases where formal enforcement action is to be taken (in consultation with the Council’s legal advisors) where breaches of planning control cannot otherwise be resolved. Great communication skills and an ability to engage with a range of stakeholders is therefore essential along with a commitment to delivering an outstanding service to all our customers.

You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and qualifying potential prospects within the industry.

You will start out in a telesales role and progress quickly into Business Development and Account Management.

You will be a motivated New Business Executive with fantastic communication skills and have prior experience within a similar position.

You will need commercial insurance broking experience and new business development skills alongside a desire to grow a book of business. Support is provided by telemarketing services, dedicated claims handling teams, databases, account handlers, access to leading insurance products and networks.
