You will also test potentially faulty parts, diagnosing any issues and resolving faults. Supporting the internal departments in the preparation and maintenance of new cars, used cars or loan vehicles.

You will need to have a minimum of a GCSE grade 4 for both Maths and English.

You must be ready to be silly; be able to be a super hero on request; know how to create a dinosaur out of junk and ultimately be prepared to have a lot of fun and laughter. The apprenticeship scheme means you work at the nursery earning a salary; gain experience whilst completing your qualification and ultimately have a permanent position at the end.

You will support the Maintenance Manager in driving engineering standards, improving reliability, and promoting a proactive maintenance culture. Key Responsibilities:

You will lead a large, multi-skilled engineering function of around 50 colleagues, including two Team Managers and teams made up of engineers, technicians, technical assistants, and an apprentice. Operating within a 24/7 environment, you will balance hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic leadership, ensuring automation and MHE systems perform safely, reliably, and efficiently.

You will act as the primary point of contact for IT support needs, resolving user issues, supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments, and contributing to strategic IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will be confident in troubleshooting desktop hardware, managing tickets to SLA, and driving improvements in both processes and user experience.

You will be working a range of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, waking nights, sleep-ins and some weekends.

You will get 29days' paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 31 days. Plus the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.

You will be working in a busy Motorrad workshop during your apprenticeship and have the opportunity to work on the latest bikes, engines and diagnostic equipment, ultimately leading to the ability to undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on vehicles once fully qualified.
