You will be responsible for ensuring that colleagues are supported where necessary to raise concerns without blame or recrimination and should pro‐actively raise concerns should they come to your attention.

You will need some experience working with vulnerable people, ideally those with learning disabilities.

You will need to be flexible and organised, with a positive approach.

You must also be a driver, as you will be driving service vehicles, as well as possibly commuting places, using your own transport.

You will have some experience in a similar role, as lone working is involved.

You will be committed to delivering tailored support that enables people to maximise their independence, working collaboratively with colleagues and in line with agreed support plans.

You will be required to attend our client’s site three days per week.

You will see yourself: Identifying problems and potential resolutions to support end users

You will be successful in this role if you have:

You will be expected to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to provide 24x7 support of the applications

You will be the key point of contact for students, staff and External Partners on specific courses for advice, guidance and help.

You will play an important role managing the needs of a group of people and balancing conflicting priorities of importance between them.

You will be IT literate, including Microsoft packages and database applications.

You will move into the client’s home and support her with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities. When you'll be working:

You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients

You will monitor adherence to policy and procedure and ensure that our values are always upheld.

You will provide direct person centered care to our valued and diverse group of service users.

You will be expected to work as part of the on-call team on a rota basis.

You will contribute to the delivery of care in accordance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008.
