You will be fully trained to Home Office NCTAS-P standard (in-house or police dog centre) - Once trained, conduct proactive explosive searches and high-visibility patrols - Respond to unattended items - Advise clients on detection capabilities - House and care for 2 company dogs (all costs covered)

You will typically be vehicle-based, deploying from Salisbury, and performing a variety of duties across a typical 12-hour shift. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and sound judgement, with the ability to remain calm, proportionate, and decisive—often under pressure.

You will engage with clients at their doorsteps, effectively communicating any pertinent information to the office team.

You will also be responsible for the loading and unloading of assigned dogs, conducting thorough head-to-tail checks, and delivering their lunch boxes or other belongings.

You will need to be flexible, experienced, detail orientated, adaptable, and conversant with the following accreditations: - National Canine Training Accreditation Scheme Private Security (NCTAS-P) - National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) - Level 4 Explosives - Level 3 Drugs & Pyrotechnics

You will also promote the use of specialist search dogs and awareness of their capabilities, providing specialist security advice where appropriate.

You will work closely with our clients to ensure service provision meets targets, completing deployment reports and communicating any issues to your manager.
