You will be instrumental in delivering the Fibroscan service as well as pioneering our newly implemented CDC clinic for liver disease patients referred directly from GPs, creating a seamless and efficient pathway to diagnosis and treatment.

You will also play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to high‐standard, efficient, and safe Fibroscan delivery.

You will work alongside consultants, ECG Technicians, and administrators to deal with a wide variety of referral requests which may include palpitations, non-urgent chest pain and shortness of breath. You'll need to participate in governance meetings to discuss the running of service and clinics on an ad hoc basis.

You will work together with specialist nurses and technicians, and private cardiologists as part of a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.

You will be expected to: - Conduct a daily ward round in collaboration with the nurse in charge, for all patients that have not already been seen by a consultant.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with practical and technical knowledge of physiology, together with previous practical experience in a busy scientific laboratory, an understanding of safe working practices and IT literacy.

You will need to be helpful, competent and flexible, and be willing to work in any laboratory or classroom relative to their experience.
