You will be responsible for supervising and managing teams on small to medium sized geotechnical ground investigation projects on site, ensuring compliance in a technical, commercial, and HSEQ sense.

You will also be responsible for logging rock and soil samples (such as boreholes and trial pits) and carrying out field testing and surveying, among other requirements.

You will have the luxury of working from home twice a week, if you would like to. The duties will include some geotechnical and geo-environmental engineer site work, project management, team mentoring and client facing. This will suit a geotechnical engineer who is looking for the next career step forward, to develop your technical and engineering geologist project management skills.

You will oversee site activities, manage subcontractors, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and carry out high-quality soil and rock logging. The position acts as a key link between site operations and office-based reporting, supporting the successful delivery of ground investigation projects.

You will be involved in projects from initial site works through to completion, gaining exposure to both field-based and office-based responsibilities.

You will also liaise with drilling contractors, ensure health and safety compliance on site, and support the efficient delivery of projects.
