English Language Tutor jobs in Middlesbrough

You will be supporting young people on a 1-1 or small group basis who are not currently accessing full time education for various reasons. Many of our young people have not attended school for some time and may have emotional barriers to learning.

You will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons across KS3–KS5, inspiring students to achieve their best and develop a lifelong love of English. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English Language and Literature. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

You will work with colleagues across the Centre to ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with our teaching, learning and assessment strategy, broader scholarship and aims for an outstanding student experience.

You will also contribute directly to student support and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the UKE Centre.
