You will hold a Master's degree in relevant subject area (PhD desirable)

You will have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area

You will have successful track record of teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds on HE programmes

You will have proven experience of providing individual and group study skills support in response to identified learning needs

You will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor who will work with you 1-2-1 or in group sessions to provide additional training and support. Once the HTML & CSS courses are complete, your trainer will move you forward to the next stage. Stage 2 – Additional Online Training (*up to 12 weeks)

You will provide consistent 1:1 support that removes barriers to learning across the school day.

You will coach regulation strategies, plan short resets when needed, and help with transitions so movement between rooms stays calm.

You will keep routines tight at entry, equipment checks and homework hand-ins and follow safeguarding and behaviour procedures at all times.

You will deliver consistent 1:1 support that makes classroom tasks clear and manageable. Before lessons, you will preview key vocabulary and task demands, agree a simple plan and set up checklists so the pupil can start work quickly.

You will coach basic study habits, including equipment checks, starter routines and homework planning, and you will always follow safeguarding and behaviour procedures.
